Relieve agonizing upper back pain naturally

The muscles across our neck, shoulders, and upper back bear the brunt of modern life's demand. Hours spent in front of computers, driving, and bending our neck on phones causes muscle imbalances and pain that centres in trigger points. Trigger points are tight, knotted muscle fibres, that limit blood flow and stop key nutrients being delivered to the muscle, like how a knot in a hose pipe stops the flow of water. This means the muscle doesn't get enough oxygen and nutrients, and waste products start to accumulate, causing inflammation that you feel as stubborn pain. A Stubborn trigger points cause pain.

Heal your back permanently

Developed by chiropractors, Massage NinJa uses targeted acupressure to unlock 14 trigger points in your trapezius muscle. The design and spacing of the nodes is based on real world data concerning the size of position of trigger points responsible for neck, back and shoulder pain.2

The specialist lobster shape matches the trapezium muscle and provides the same muscle targeting treatment as a Chiropractor, at a fraction of the cost and from the comfort of your own home.

Patented design made by Chiropractors

"If I could go back in time and undo every other pain relief massage thing I have tried and buy this one instead, I would."

This thing is amazing. If I could go back in time and undo every other pain relief massage thing! have tried and buy this one Instead, I would. Here why:

The heavy all cone la perfect if you are someone who wants a deep, deep tissue massage. It a very firm but also has give. Because of this, the "lobster shape is slightly malleable, so that the width between the claws can be adjusted to fit your neck if you pull the claws apart, they want to snap back together which means that they

exert pressure towards each other, and the massage nubs actually squeeze a little. It can also be flipped upside down so that the claws can be in your lower back, squeezing together on either side of your spine, and let me tell you if you have knots in your lower back, it la heaven. It a great to use lying down but I prefer having it behind my back while sitting on the couch because it is easier to move around and control the pressure. You kind of have to learn to use it, it lant just for lying static on the pressure points You can really work out some deep knots with this thing and it is a lot more versatile than just your upper back and shoulders. You can also use it on other body parts, like for example put It on the ottoman to use on calves and feet. This

la absolutely worth the money, it is very well made, NOT an eva foam material like so many other options. I am so happy with this tool that am planning to buy a couple other items from this company, it is the half the price as one hour massage and provides so much more relief.

    "Nothing short of a miracle!"

"I was skeptical, but also desperate to find relief for my neck and back, so I took the risk of $40 and the potential of buying yet another tool that doesn't work. But this tool works phenomenally!

Worth every single penny. Very happy with purchase. I had been experiencing excruciating neck and back pain. The kind that keeps you from most things and you can't stretch because it's locked up so tight and hurts so bad. I layed on this on the ground for five mins and felt almost instant relief, which got better as I used it.

You can move it up and down your spine and direct the nubs into areas - you can tell where it's most effective by the pains you feel - those are the areas that need to be pushed on. Then the pain goes away as you hold on those spots. Nothing short of a miracle."

    "Awesome design"

"Initially, I was skeptical about this product because there are so many back pain relief products shown to me on Facebook, all claiming to cure my pain. Saw this on a facebook ad and took a risk and ordered. Shipping was a bit slow around 5 days but arrived with instruction manual and immediately noticed the strong build quality. Used it for a while and found that the design that provides perfect fit for me. The claw-like parts provide room for adjustments by widening or narrowing the distance between the claws. You can find the perfect spots by exploring/playing with it a little bit. I was desperate to try all available options before trying epidural injections. I'm glad I found this, and together with right rehab exercises, it really helps with pain management. Or rather, on the days when I couldn't even get to the PT sessions due to swelling, burning sensation and pain, these tools were my only hope. Thank you for making great products."

Healing multiple kinds of pain:

With the help of top chiropractors & a team of physical therapists. Massage Ninja took 3 years to develop, and it's proven to help against the most complications, such as:
  • Neck Pain

Targeted pressure on the trapezius and surrounding muscles unlocks the key L7,L9,L11 and R8,R10,R12 trigger points, which restores blood flow and reducing inflammation that causes neck pain.

  • Migraines

Tension in the neck muscles, especially the suboccipital muscles at the base of the skull, contribute to migraines. Massage Ninja unlocks the L13 and R14 trigger points at the suboccipital muscles, which reduces the frequency and intensity of migraine episodes.

  • Stiff Neck Syndrome

This condition is often due to muscle tightness. Massage Ninja can loosens the neck muscle by unlocking the L11, L9 and R12,R10 trigger points, which increases mobility, and eliminates stiff neck.

  • Tension Headaches

Often caused by muscle contractions in the neck and scalp, tension headaches are alleviated through the L11, L13 and R14, R12 trigger points. Unlocking the trigger points relaxes the overall muscle, reducing the occurrence of these headaches.

  • Upper back pain

Typically its the L3,L5 and R4, R6 trigger points in the upper back causing pain and discomfort. Massage Ninja unlocks these to reduce the underlying muscle tightness and improve muscular function.

  • Spondylosis

While Massage Ninja cannot reverse the structural changes of spondylosis, it can help manage the muscular pain that often accompanies this condition by promoting targeting all the key trigger points that run alongside the spine.

  • Neck Hump

A neck hump can be associated with poor posture and muscle weakness. While the massager cannot change bone structure, it can alleviate muscle pain and encourage better posture, which reduces the appearance of a neck hump.

  • Arthritis

Arthritis in the neck and shoulders is very common in older age. Massage Ninja unlocks the L7, L9 and R8, R10 trigger points, which helps in reducing inflammation and stiffness and increasing range of motion.

  • TMJ

Trigger points in the neck and shoulder cause 'referred pain' in other areas, including the jaw. Addressing the key L11,L13 and R12,R14 trigger points with Massage Ninja alleviates referred pain that contributes to TMJ discomfort.

This product is AMAZING! I have had it for about a month now, and wow! The quality is top notch. I took it with me to a physical therapy appointment and nearly all the therapist, assistants, office staff, and even a couple of patients gave it a try. Everyone loved it and several said they would be buying one. They even talked about getting one for the office to treat patients! I love that I can do some of my physical therapy exercises while laying on the device, giving me compound benefits. I use it to dig into my troublesome knots, treat headaches, relaxation.....I just can't get enough. This is my first product from this company, but I will definitely be investing in more. I am always concerned that I will be disappointed when I buy products like this, concerned that it will just get piled up with all the other products that just didn't live up to my expectations, but this is NOT one of those. This product doesn't get put away. It lives in my living room now. I highly recommend to all who suffer from knots, tight muscles, muscle spasms, neck pain, back pain, and or headaches. Newlife is legit!

Yes, I call this thing my lobster. It's orange and it looks just like one. But you're not here to read my pet names on products.

I was skeptical but I have to say, THIS WAS THE BEST INVESTMENT I COULD EVER MAKE! I have suffered from shoulder/neck pain for the past year +. I've seen a chiropractor (multiple times) and that didn't put a dent in my issue. I can't afford the luxury of a massage every week or even every other week and I was running out of options. Not able to turn my head from side to side, and overall my range of motion was extremely limited.

I decided to give this orange beast a try and WOW! Yes, it does take some adjusting to get the "nodes" to hit your muscles and pressure points just right. And yes, you actually have to do some work! You can't just lay there expecting magic to happen.

After 10 minutes and a heck of a lot of "it hurts so good" moaning, I got up, and sweet Jesus I had range of motion again! I may have looked odd on this thing, rotating my arms like a kid pretending to be an airplane but man, it works!

I laid back on my lobster friend a couple of days later and I was still so sensitive I had to wait a full week after my first use. It was as if my back had undergone punishment and torture by a Swedish masseuse. After only 5 airplane trips with Lobster, the knots in my shoulder are nearly gone. GONE. I have had those angry knots follow me around like unwanted baggage!

I now make laying on this rock lobster a weekly occurrence and couldn't be happier. My words of advice, don't be afraid to move around and adjust it as needed. No, it's not a perfect fit, but damn for the low cost and no pain, I'm willing to wiggle a bit. Now get crackin', don't be shellfish!Yes, I call this thing my lobster. Amazing quality, and extremely effective. I used to pay $150 for massages every 4-6 weeks due to extremely knotted neck, shoulder, and back muscles due to stress from work (I've been told my muscles are more tense than patients with spinal cord injuries, and I have no such injury). I bought the Trapezius trigger point massager. Pricey for a very hefty bit of equipment - but worth every dollar. I haven't gone for a massage in three months and feel better than I have in years. I use it for 30-40min before bedtime and the fascial knots release more effectively than anything else I've tried.

I've suffered from spinal issues all my life, as I was born missing various parts and pieces - all of which has been complicated by several accidents, one of which caused severe, permanent right shoulder damage. Having a device that provides this level of relief is a game changer for severe pain between my shoulder blades up through my neck & this product does the trick. I have had products that I would classify as "sturdily built" - this thing is way way way beyond sturdily built - more like what we used to call "bomb proof" because it really is that tough. You will need to patiently and thoughtfully spend the time to learn to use this device but stick with it and you'll find that it is well worth the effort.

My right shoulder is a hot mess. I have (HAD!!!) constant gnawing pain in my traps, tingling in my fingers, and my right hand is (WAS!!!) almost always cold. I unboxed the Newlife Trigger Point Massager this morning and used it for about 5 minutes because it was my first time, and I didn't want to over do.

All I can say is wow. I have so many knots in my muscles, and this one hit every single one. Every time I moved my arms I hear/felt a crunch. It hurt, but it hurt so good. I have not had any shoulder pain today, in spite of it being a very stressful day. My hand has been warm all day. No tingling. I was able to adjust the pressure, which I certainly cannot do with a massage therapist.

My arm falls asleep at night and wakes me up. I will update after a few days to see if that goes away.

I have had chronic neck and shoulder pain all year due to poor posture. I’ve tried everything from going to a chiropractor, going to stretch therapy, getting several massages over the course of eight months….nothing was working until I tried this device! Within just a couple of days I felt better already. It’s an awesome product! Feeling grateful!

I work in healthcare, and the anterior head position is starting to take a toll. Even though I get a massage every 4 weeks- the trigger points under my scapula we’re starting to become a constant.

This “lobster” is one of the best things that I have purchased for self-care. I am able to address so many points of irritation, and I have full control. You have to “lean into the pain” sometimes- but that’s what trigger point release is all about. I literally feel the day’s tension start to melt away after about 5-6 minutes of light rocking. The relaxation that one feels after a session is pretty cool!

Take your time with lining all of the “nubbins” up with your midline and occipitus.

The high quality material and design are worth it! I’ve referred a few of my friends to Newlife already.

A lot of BS products make big claims, promise a lot, and fail utterly. This is the real deal. It kind of resembles a lobster. Its SOLID, heavy silicone. You can put all your weight on it, and this thing will hold you up. Just drape yourself on it, let your body weight do the work, or kind of roll around on the nobs. It gets all the sore spots and tight muscles. The spots on the back of your head at the base of your skull that get so tense at the end of an 8 or 12 hour shift. I've stood on the thing to massage my feet. Great for low back pain/ upper back pain/ fibromyalgia/ plantar fasciitis. Its a bit to get used to. If you have more tender muscles, put a folded towel or a soft pillow between you and it- it still works. I put a pillow behind my head, so I can put it lower down on my back. Put your arms out to the sides to stretch out the front of your chest. If you work out, and are trying to stay limber, get it. Or if you work on a computer all day, and are trying not to turn into a hunchback. I've recommended it to friends, and plan to give it to a few folks for xmas. Its maybe on the pricier side, but worth it, when you figure how long it will last you, and the fact that it actually works, and does what it claims to do. Plus, its made by a small company in UK, and its only a matter of time before you can buy some crappy knock off, so support the inventors if you can.

Been dealing with shoulder pain for years and recently neck pain. The pain feels like it comes from my upper back. After some web reading I found this and figured I would give it a try. Major relief was found within the first use minutes after it hit my doorstep. It's clear now that all my pain is from having super tight trap muscles. At first it was uncomfortable and painful to lay on. Slowly performing the movements from the instructions worked and quickly there was less discomfort. As the muscles loosened up it wasn't so bad. When I was done using it I sat up and my pain was almost gone. Now the pain is dull and I can move my neck with ease. I can see myself using this daily.

Henry R.

As an occupational therapist, I can say that this truly hits the major trigger points, no matter what your body type is! I’ve used it not only for myself and family, but have recommended my patients try it. My colleagues all took turns lying on it, and many have gone on to purchase one for themselves. Not only that, we’re now getting one for our clinic because it works!

Ava T.

I have implemented this into my nighttime stretch routine and it has been life changing. My neck and shoulders are no longer tight and sore first thing in the morning!

Elizabeth P.

I think it’s great. It’s sturdy & the first time I used it briefly on a mattress, & got amazing relief. The warmth & circulation of trapezius and neck was deliciously exquisite & a marked reduction of pain. Now I’m continuing to enjoy on firmer surfaces & get great results.

I purchased both this and the Reflex Massager, and OMG, I'm releasing knots and muscles that only my chiropractor and fascia bodyworker could relieve. This tool is everything since I can no longer go to the chiropractor after having ACDF surgery on my cervical spine. This tool gives me access to relive all the points of tension that cause compression in my neck.

I started slowly, not spending too long on it, and focused on relaxing, breathing deep breaths, and tucking my hips. An added bonus is this "lobster's claws" move a bit, making it easy to target other tight spots when I roll to the side.

Thanks Little Mum for an amazing affordable product, I can't wait to buy a few more of your products!

Emily S.

It looks weird, but this tool is well-designed. the curve helps stretch out rounded backs and shoulders. It is nice and sturdy. I expect it will last forever!

November last year, one morning I woke up with a very stiff neck. Expecting the pain to go away after a few days, I didn't worry much about this temporary inconvenience. After two weeks of moderate change, I started to worry. It was very painful for me to sit on the plane to see my family for Thanksgiving, to the point that I decided to ask a doctor for muscle relaxers that didn't do much to alleviate the problem. I decided to do PT instead, which indeed helped a lot with the problem but it still wasn't a full recovery. A deep tissue Thai massage finally got me to the state where I could normally exercise again without major pain. In the meantime learned about the ischaemic pressure technique, which was able to help with some of the trigger points, however, there was still this one trigger point in my levator scapulae that would trigger needle-like pain every now and then when I tried to touch my chin to my neck. It wasn't easy to reach to apply the ischaemic pressure there. I decided to get Newlife massager with very little expectations that it will get me to some better state but after 3 days of regular use, this little lobster (what I call it now) really helped to turn off those horrible trigger points. Almost no more morning pain after a few days. I am not a review person but this time I am really happy. Definitely a keeper.

I'm giving this 5 stars but I've only used it for 2 days so I will update this if that changes. I was hesitant to spend so much on this but knowing it was made out of silicone and not foam I decided the difference may be worth it - and it so is! If you've used enough foam and plastic massage rollers and balls you know there's generally no give to them, or if there is it's because your weight is squishing the roller. With this dense silicone lobster shaped massager, pressing into it almost feels like it's pressing back into you, like human hands. Nothing will replace the feel of actual human touch and the way therapists can work into the exact tissues that need the help. But for an idle tool you lean into and try to reach trigger points on your own, it's the best I've come across. I've had a 2 week long flare up in my neck and after only one day this helped me to be able to turn my head again with much less pain. That's pretty awesome! But like I said, this is only day 2, so I will be religiously using this to see if it continues to help or eventually hurts or falls apart etc. For the price and the quality I expect it to be a great part of my daily recovery and last a long time. I may invest in their product for the back too. I woke up today feeling like someone had worked deep into my muscles, when usually with foam rollers all I feel is surface level relief plus bruising, so that tells me this really gets in deep where it needs to while still being gentle on the skin!

William R.

I love this thing!! I get monthly deep tissue massages and this product mimics the deep pressure. If u have to find the right spot and u can move your arms it will make it deeper. I thought the price tag was steep, but since this thing works its worth it. It heavy and nicely made. Not cheap try it!

I purchased this on a friend’s recommendation. I knew it was a bit expensive but it’s definitely a quality product. It’s definitely high quality silicon and sturdy. It may take a few uses to get the right alignment that works with your body but don’t give up. Once you get the hang of it it really does relieve muscle tightness and trigger points. Don’t buy the knock offs, it’s worth the investment.
