Happy Customers All Around The World!
Have used it every day since 3rd of April, 3-4 times a days increasing the resistance weekly and i have seen a very noticeable improvement in the depth of my breathing. I suffer with mild Asthma and within the next few weeks i will be gradually reducing my inhaler usage to see what effect that has. I got to the gym 3-4 times a week and have seen benefits there as well. I was very dubious initially which is why i chose this price range model but with the benefits this budget model has produced
I've been playing the flugelhorn for just over a year. Efficient and strong breathing is crucial for developing tonal range and endurance, especially for me as a late starter. This simple tool allows both inhalation and exhalation resistance to be adjusted to build up respiratory muscle strength.
First impressions... I've used this for few days now. It does indeed restrict breaths in, and the restriction is finely adjustable. But (unlike the much more expensive types) it doesn't restrict breathing out in the same manner. You can set it to restrict breaths out, but that's effectively all or nothing, far less adjustable. But, I understand what most people want to do is just to restrict breathing in, so it's absolutely fine for that.Excellent value for money, and quite effective at what it sets out to do. Advice: warm it up before use, or your breath condenses in it, and dribbles all over.
My daughter has had breathing challenges when racing, we found she was hyperventilating and this brought on breathlessness. So told she needed to learn to breath. First we showed her how to do box breathing and now she does it with this device. Her peak flows were in the 280's 3 months ago, now she can hit 400 and is mainly on the 380's and no longer gets breathless during races. So defiantly working for us. Bought another one to improve my breathing too. Easy to use, instructions come with, we have not even started increasing the intensity yet. It takes practice and patience, but it is worth it.
